Rural Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) still have limited understanding of halal certification and digital financial literacy. Mapping data from the Bumiwangi Village Government show that, of 119 registered MSMEs, 112 have no Business Identification Number (NIB) and only 9 hold a halal certificate, while interviews with six informants revealed that financial recording was not yet orderly. This community service activity aimed to improve MSME actors' understanding and readiness to apply for halal certification and to practice digital financial literacy. The partners were MSME actors in Bumiwangi Village, Ciparay District, Bandung Regency. The activity took place on 2 August 2026 at the Bumiwangi Village Hall. The method consisted of three stages: pre-activity village data review and semi-structured interviews, delivery of two interactive extension modules with visual demonstrations and case studies (halal certification and digital financial literacy using the usahadarinol.com platform), and monitoring and evaluation. Success was measured through a 1–5 scale pre-test and post-test given to 13 participants, supported by direct observation. Results showed increased understanding: the average score for the halal certification module rose from 2.97 to 3.94, while the digital financial literacy module rose from 3.27 to 3.92. Participants became better prepared to process business legality through the self-declare scheme, separate personal and business finances, and use digital bookkeeping. This integrated extension model can potentially be replicated for MSME groups with similar problems, accompanied by follow-up mentoring so that understanding translates into business practice.
