Pemanfaatan Nilai-Nilai Al-Qur’an dan Literasi Digital Islami pada Masyarakat

The development of digital technology has had a significant impact on the religious patterns of Muslim communities, including in the way they study and practice the teachings of the Qur'an. However, this progress is also accompanied by challenges in the form of low digital religious literacy and weak media ethics from an Islamic perspective. Based on these conditions, the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Islamic University of North Sumatra (FAI-UISU) carried out a Community Service (PkM) activity with the theme "The Qur'an and Technology" at the Al-Muqarribin Tahfiz House, Medan. This activity aims to integrate the values ??of the Qur'an with Islamic digital literacy skills and increase public awareness in utilizing technology productively, ethically, and based on faith. The implementation method uses an educational-participatory approach with four main stages, namely: (1) preparation through coordination and observation of partner needs; (2) planning material with the theme of integrating the Qur'an and technology; (3) implementation of thematic religious studies and interactive discussions; and (4) evaluation based on feedback and observation of participant participation. The activity partner, Rumah Tahfiz Al-Muqarribin, was actively involved from planning through evaluation, demonstrating effective synergy between academics, students, and the community. The activity resulted in a 75% participant participation rate, with a significant increase in understanding of Quranic values ??in the use of technology. Participants demonstrated high enthusiasm for the Quran-based digital learning application and recognized the importance of media ethics in everyday life. Socially, this activity encouraged the community to become intelligent, civilized, and welfare-oriented technology users. Institutionally, this activity strengthened the role of FAI-UISU as a facilitator of the integration of science and religion and opened opportunities for further collaboration in the development of Islamic digital literacy modules. In conclusion, this Community Service (PKM) activity significantly contributed to building a holistic technology-based learning and da'wah model, combining intellectual, moral, and spiritual intelligence. This activity can serve as a model for replication for other Islamic educational institutions in building a digital society that is ethical, religious, and adaptive to current developments.Downloads
