Abstract

This grant program focuses on optimizing production and providing packaging training for organic fertilizer at Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak (LKSA) Al-Ummi, Cianjur, West Java. The partner’s main challenge is the low market value of organic fertilizer due to inefficiencies in the production process and the absenceof packaging that meets market standards. The program implemented a series of activities, including training on the use of filler machines to improve volumeconsistency and production speed, workshops on packaging design and artificial intelligence (AI)–based product logo development, as well as training in product photography and copywriting to support digital marketing. The results indicate improved production efficiency, reflected in shorter packaging time and more consistent product volume, along with enhanced partner capacity to produce more professional and market-ready packaging designs. In addition, the partnerdemonstrated increased readiness to promote products through digital media. This program not only provides technical solutions to partner challenges but alsocontributes to strengthening economic self-reliance, social empowerment, and environmental sustainability. In the future, this program has the potential to serve as an environment-based empowerment model that can be replicated by similar social welfare institutions in other regions.
