Manual feeding practices often lead to feed waste, irregular feeding schedules, and water pollution in fish ponds. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to enhance the efficiency and productivity of fish farming through the development and implementation of an automatic fish feeding machine as an initial step toward an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system. The PKM activities were carried out in Marindal II Village in collaboration with the Karang Taruna Youth Group and the PKK community group as partners. The implemented automatic fish feeder is capable of regulating feeding time and dosage in a scheduled manner without manual intervention, thereby reducing feed waste and improving labor efficiency. Although the system has not yet been directly integrated with IoT technology, the design approach and training activities were oriented toward preparing partners for future IoT-based development, such as remote monitoring and sensor integration. Evaluation results indicate improvements in partners’ understanding and skills in managing fish farming activities, feeding time efficiency, and feed waste reduction. This program serves as an important foundation for the sustainable development of IoT-based automatic fish feeding systems in Marindal II Village.
Sayuti Rahman Asmah Indrawati Andre Hasudungan Lubis Copyright (c) 2026 Sayuti Rahman, Asmah Indrawati, Andre Hasudungan Lubis https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2026-04-20 2026-04-20 6 4 10.47065/jpm.v6i4.2962 Optimalisasi Pemanfaatan Teknologi Augmented Reality Dalam Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran Sekolah https://djournals.com/jpm/article/view/2885
The rapid development of information technology has driven a transformation in the field of education toward digital and interactive learning. These conditions may increase anxiety and emotional vulnerability, particularly within church-based community settings. In response to this situation, a community service program was implemented through the Basic Ecclesial Community (KUB) Care for Pregnant Women Movement as a form of community-based psycho-spiritual accompaniment. This community service activity aims to provide holistic accompaniment for pregnant women through the active involvement of Basic Ecclesial Communities and parish pastoral services. The accompaniment was carried out through pastoral visits, communal prayers, blessings, solidarity-based support, and the facilitation of routine health check-ups in collaboration with local medical personnel. The implementation methods included direct community accompaniment, participatory observation, and interviews with pregnant women, KUB coordinators, and parish priests as part of activity reflection and evaluation. The results indicate that the KUB Care for Pregnant Women Movement successfully created a safe and inclusive space for pregnant women, reduced anxiety levels, and enhanced psycho-spiritual well-being as well as a sense of meaning and belonging within the community. However, the implementation has not been evenly distributed across all KUB units, highlighting the need for strengthened organizational structures, sustained pastoral accompaniment, and increased capacity-building for KUB members. This community service activity affirms that community-based psycho-spiritual accompaniment represents a contextual, participatory, and relevant pastoral service model for supporting vulnerable groups, particularly pregnant women, and should be integrated into diocesan pastoral policies to ensure program sustainability and broader impact.
Damianus Dionisius Nuwa Maria Yulita C. The characteristics of the beach and the sloping geographical allow Puger Kulon Village to develop into a beach-based tourism village. The southern sea has a harsh choppy character with sandy beaches so it needs plant vegetation that acts as a barrier. The need for vegetation as a barrier in the second zone besides the sea pandan which already exists as the first barrier initiated the planting of shrimp cypress in the Pancer coastal area. Planting shrimp cypress is beneficial in resisting wind speed and keeping air conditions cooler in addition to being able to reduce the impact of tsunamis and abrasion in coastal areas. Shrimp cypress can live in extreme conditions, resistant to drought and strong gusts of wind and pest attacks. This activity aims to revitalize the pancer beach area in order to support sustainable ecotourism. This activity is carried out through observation, coordination with related parties, provision and planting of shrimp cypress seedlings, shrimp cypress maintenance and provision of coastal environmental management modules. A total of 200 shrimp cypress seedlings have been planted on Pancer coastal involving the assisted village service team in collaboration with the village government, Pokdarwis and marine members from the Pam Puter XXVIII Nusa Barong Island Ops Task Force.
Esti Utarti Rendy Setiawan Susantin Fajariyah Mashuri Mashuri Shafa Nashrullah Tasya Preira Farrennina Syafira Lailatul Ulfa Marfuah Copyright (c) 2026 Esti Utarti, Rendy Setiawan, Susantin Fajariyah, Mashuri Mashuri, Shafa Nashrullah, Tasya Preira Farrennina, Syafira Lailatul Ulfa Marfuah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2026-04-20 2026-04-20 6 4 10.47065/jpm.v6i4.2592 Optimalisasi Potensi Lokal Melalui Transformasi Ide Bisnis Menjadi Rencana Nyata https://djournals.com/jpm/article/view/2775
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) often face challenges in transforming innovative ideas into structured business strategies, leading to low competitiveness and business resilience. This community service program aims to optimize understanding and awareness of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) as well as environmental management from an early age, targeting Early Childhood Education (PAUD) students, 5th and 6th grade elementary school (SD) students, and the general public. The program is implemented using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach through three main intervention stages: first, hygiene education for PAUD students through motor skill stimulation such as exercise, direct practice of handwashing with soap (CTPS), and coloring activities; second, integrated socialization at the elementary school level involving simulations of organic and inorganic waste sorting, anti-bullying campaigns, and the importance of general health in schools; and third, the design and installation of visual media in the form of educational signboards displaying the decomposition time of household waste in strategic village locations. The results show a significant impact, with 90% of PAUD students demonstrating improved motor skills and independent sanitation understanding, and more than 85% of elementary students able to accurately practice waste sorting. At the community level, the installation of educational signboards has created a cognitive shock effect, increasing public awareness of the dangers of plastic waste accumulation. In conclusion, the synergy between preventive education in schools and visual campaigns in public spaces is highly effective in promoting sustainable sanitation behavior within the village ecosystem.
Muhammad Zulfakar Sapar Hidayat. The project was motivated by persistent challenges, including a underdeveloped culture of collaboration among teachers and limited access to effective, contextual, and sustainable professional development, which ultimately impacts classroom learning outcomes. The partners involved were teachers from four public elementary schools representing the northern and southern regions of Tangerang City. The implementation method followed a participatory and cyclical approach, commencing with a needs assessment conducted through surveys and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). This was followed by training for internal facilitators to ensure program sustainability. The core activity involved intensive mentoring during the formation and operationalization of the PLCs, supported by workshops on integrating digital technology into teaching. The entire process was monitored through formative evaluations and concluded with a summative assessment. The results demonstrated the successful establishment of active and self-sustaining PLCs in all partner schools, evidenced by regular meeting schedules and clear work agendas. Key achievements include a significant improvement in teachers' collaborative, communicative, and reflective skills, alongside the development of eight innovative teaching modules based on local contextual problems. The anticipated long-term impact is the creation of a collective learning culture, a sustained increase in teaching motivation, and a transformation towards more adaptive, student-centered learning practices. It is concluded that the collaborative approach through PLCs is an effective and sustainable strategy for empowering teachers as the primary agents of educational quality improvement.
Cecep Maman Hermawan Okta Rosfiani Syamsudin Abdullah Moira Nufasa Copyright (c) 2026 Cecep Maman Hermawan, Okta Rosfiani, Syamsudin Abdullah, Moira Nufasa https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2026-04-27 2026-04-27 6 4 10.47065/jpm.v6i4.2681 Pelatihan Empati Dan Toleransi Siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Melalui Edukasi Anti-Bullying Dan Penggunaan Smartphone https://djournals.com/jpm/article/view/2954
This community service program aimed to strengthen empathy and tolerance among students at SDN 2 Bojasari through anti-bullying education and responsible smartphone use training.
