A preliminary survey of 20 MSMEs revealed that most lacked strategic use of social media and did not maintain proper financial records. The program was implemented through interactive training and field mentoring over two months. The results showed significant improvements in four key areas: social media usage increased from 50% to 85%, financial record-keeping from 20% to 75%, digital literacy from 30% to 85%, and financial literacy from 25% to 75%. Participants also reported increased business revenue and enhanced online promotion skills. The program aligns with prior research findings while offering a unique approach through integrated methods and tangible behavioral change among participants. Limitations include a relatively short implementation period and the absence of long-term impact assessment. Nevertheless, the program is considered successful and has the potential to be replicated for other MSME sectors with a more sustainable strategy.
2025-07-16T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Dian Purnama Sari, Vina Winda Sari, Yuni Andri Ekawati, Aswin Akbar, Muhammad Syahrizal https://djournals.com/jpm/article/view/2444 Dampak Optimalisasi Kesehatan Remaja dengan Edukasi Bijak Dalam Penggunaan Obat Kepada Siswa SMP 2025-05-29T05:45:44+00:00 Sri Marfuati srimarfuati16@gmail.com Mustika Weni mustikaweni261192@gmail.com Rama Samara Brajawikalpa ramasamara@gmail.com Emallia Fitriani emallia03@gmail.com
Self-medication is increasingly common among the general public, including adolescents. However, a lack of proper understanding regarding drug use, storage, and disposal can lead to medication errors that pose serious health risks. This community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge of students at SMP regarding the proper and responsible use of medications through an educational session titled “Using Medicines Wisely.” The activity was conducted on May 24, 2025, by lecturers from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati (UGJ), using a face-to-face method involving a pre-test, educational material delivery, interactive discussion, and a post-test. Pre-test results showed that only 22% of participants had good knowledge, which increased to 68% after the educational session with the meaning of value. These findings indicate that the activity effectively enhanced students’ understanding of responsible self-medication practices, particularly in recognizing drug types, usage instructions, proper storage, and safe disposal methods. This program is expected to foster wise medication habits from an early age and contribute to the development of a health-conscious society.
2025-07-16T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Sri Marfuati, Mustika Weni, Rama Samara Brajawikalpa, Emallia Fitriani https://djournals.com/jpm/article/view/2454 Optimalisasi Penguatan Kompetensi Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling Melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan RPLBK Berbasis Four C’s 2025-06-05T06:23:38+00:00 Silvia AR silviaar@fkip.unsri.ac.id Nur Wisma nurwisma@fkip.unsri.ac.id Alrefi alrefi@fkip.unsri.ac.id Riski Novirson riskinovirson@fkip.unsri.ac.id
The increasingly complex demands of the modern era require educational services, including guidance and counseling, to transform and align with the needs of 21st-century learners. School counselors play a strategic role in guiding students to develop their potential and plan their future careers effectively. However, a needs assessment conducted in Ogan Ilir Regency revealed that many school counselors still face challenges in designing Counseling Service Implementation Plans (RPLBK) based on 21st-century skills, known as the Four C’s: Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication. This community service activity aimed to enhance the professional competence of school counselors through a structured training program focused on developing RPLBK aligned with the Four C’s framework. The training was delivered using a blended learning model with an in-on-in approach, including theoretical sessions, face-to-face workshops, and follow-up mentoring for revision and evaluation. The evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding and skills in designing more creative, collaborative, and contextually relevant RPLBKs. This initiative is expected to serve as a starting point in strengthening the professional capacity of school counselors to provide adaptive and relevant career guidance services in the digital era.
2025-07-16T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Silvia AR, Nur Wisma, Alrefi, Riski Novirson https://djournals.com/jpm/article/view/2451 Optimalisasi Pendidikan Kesehatan Gizi Terhadap Pencegahan Anemia pada Remaja melalui Permainan Ular Tangga Gizi Seimbang 2025-06-01T01:41:59+00:00 Hot Marsitta Angelica Simbolon hotmarsitta08@upi.edu Linda Amalia lindamalia16@upi.edu Upik Rahmi upikrahmi@upi.edu
Anemia or often called a condition caused by lack of blood where this disease is caused by iron deficiency, a type of micronutrient deficiency that is most common in the world. One of the individuals who are susceptible to anemia is adolescents who are influenced by several factors, namely age, knowledge or education, nutritional status, behavior, and consuming nutrition. Adolescence is one of the periods with a high chance of iron deficiency because there are many factors. The working area of ??the Dago Health Center in Bandung City in 2024 was identified as one of the health centers with the highest number of cases of adolescent anemia. Based on the results of the initial survey, it was found that SMP Pasundan 3 was the school and research location with the highest prevalence of adolescent anemia among schools in the area. This study aims to identify the effect of nutritional health education delivered through the balanced nutrition snakes and ladders game on preventing anemia in adolescents. However, this potential has not been optimally promoted due to the lack of adequate digital infrastructure, particularly in leveraging web-based platforms for tourism information dissemination. One of the key issues is the limited utilization of information technology, especially the absence of a village website integrated with location-based features. Additionally, the lack of technical skills among village officials and local residents in managing and maintaining web systems has hindered efforts to develop digital tourism strategies. In response to these challenges, a community service program initiated by LLDIKTI Region 3 and carried out by a team from Universitas Mercubuana, Universitas Pertamina, and Akademi Maritim Djadajat conducted a series of socialization and training activities. These activities aimed to introduce, train, and enhance the digital capabilities of village officials and residents through location-based website development and management. The program included a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to identify local needs, hands-on technical workshops, and feedback sessions to assess participants’ understanding. This activity was carried out using a participatory approach through face-to-face training, case studies, and hands-on practice in campaign fundraising. Based on a survey of 20 participants before and after the training, there was a significant increase in understanding of the concept of crowdfunding, with the majority moving from a low level to moderate and high levels after the training. These findings align with recent research highlighting the importance of digital financial literacy and technology utilisation in village development (Rahmawati et al., 2024; Suvero et al., 2023; Zellatifanny & Mudjiyanto, 2024). Although the training successfully enhanced participants' capacity, the activity had limitations in terms of the number of respondents, the short duration of the training, and the absence of a directly implemented crowdfunding campaign. Therefore, the programme recommends ongoing mentoring and multi-stakeholder collaboration to ensure the sustainable use of crowdfunding as a village social finance tool and its direct impact on local tourism development
2025-07-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Wardayani, Supriyanto https://djournals.com/jpm/article/view/2556 Optimalisasi Pemanfaatan Generatif AI dalam Pemberdayaan Kreativitas Musik Penyandang Disabilitas 2025-07-19T02:55:51+00:00 Fatmariani fatma_r@palcomtech.ac.id Eka Prasetya Adhy Sugara eka.prasetya@palcomtech.ac.id Azalia Mawarindani Indra azalia.mawarindani@palcomtech.ac.id
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, especially Generative AI, opens up new opportunities in the fields of art and creativity, including in digital music production. This community service activity aims to empower people with disabilities through training in the use of Generative AI in the digital music creation process. The partner in this activity is a community of people with disabilities in the city of Palembang, namely the Sharing Disability Indonesia Foundation, who have an interest in music, but are physically and sensorily limited. The implementation method is carried out through a participatory approach with the following stages: technology socialization, training in the use of generative AI platforms such as Suno AI, and assistance in the process of producing digital music works. Evaluation is carried out through interviews and assessments of the quality of the musical works produced by participants. The results of this activity show that participants are able to use Generative AI independently to create original music, and experience increased self-confidence and creative expression. This community service proves that technology can bridge the access gap and become an inclusive tool that supports the empowerment of groups with disabilities in the world of art and technology. AI literacy is an important aspect that must be instilled from an early age, not only for people with disabilities but also the general public, so that they can understand, utilize, and adapt critically and creatively to technological advances. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the participants were in the 68-30% interval, meaning that this community service activity had a positive impact on increasing self-confidence and creativity for people with disabilities.
2025-07-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Fatmariani, Eka Prasetya Adhy Sugara, Azalia Mawarindani Indra https://djournals.com/jpm/article/view/2587 Penerapan Mesin Pencacah Rumput untuk Meningkatkan Efisiensi Usaha Peternakan pada Kelompok Ternak Bumdes 2025-07-29T13:06:15+00:00 Syaukaty Yasinta syaukaty.yasinta@gmail.com Trio Nur Wibowo trionw@ump.ac.id Andri Andriawan aan.andriawan@ump.ac.id Fadli Sulaeman fadlisulaeman4@gmail.com
The Livestock Group of Bumdes Kridatama in Gumiwang Village, Purbalingga, is a farming cooperative managing beef cattle and goats. Currently, animal feeding practices rely entirely on manually cut fresh grass without further processing. Field observations and interviews indicate that this method is inefficient, requiring 4 to 5 hours per day for grass cutting, and fails to meet optimal nutritional requirements for livestock due to inconsistent grass size and poor digestibility. To address these challenges, a community service program was conducted to improve the members’ knowledge and skills in using a grass chopping machine, aiming to enhance the efficiency of livestock farming operations. The program involved 15 active members of the Bumdes Kridatama Livestock Group as participants. The implementation methods included socialization on the importance of high-quality feed processing, hands-on training in operating the grass chopping machine, and live demonstrations from chopping to feeding the processed grass to livestock. Following implementation, regular monitoring, evaluation, and mentoring were conducted to ensure sustainability. Evaluation results showed a significant improvement in operational efficiency: the average time required for feed preparation decreased from 4.5 hours per day to just 1.1 hours—a reduction of 75.6%. Moreover, the use of finer and more uniform chopped grass improved feed digestibility, leading to a 10–15% increase in livestock weight gain over a three-month period compared to pre-intervention levels. Participants responded positively, with 90% reporting that the machine was easy to operate, and 80% stating that the program helped make their farming activities more efficient and better managed. This initiative demonstrates that the adoption of appropriate technology—specifically, the grass chopping machine—can significantly improve feeding efficiency, enhance animal productivity, and contribute to the sustainable improvement of farmers’ livelihoods.
2025-07-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Syaukaty Yasinta, Trio Nur Wibowo, Andri Andriawan, Fadli Sulaeman https://djournals.com/jpm/article/view/2557 Strategi Edukasi dan Promosi Kesehatan untuk Optimalisasi Pencegahan Komplikasi Diabetes Mellitus dan Hipertensi pada Usia Remaja 2025-07-18T15:44:33+00:00 Defi Nurul Hayati definurulhayati@ump.ac.id Jannatin Nur Aripin jjnaaaa05@gmail.com Muhammad Ramadhani Suryolaksono suryolaksosno@ump.ac.id Kurnia Ritma Dhanti kurniaritmadhamti@ump.ac.id Syaukaty Yasinta syasinta@ump.ac.id Jannatin Nur Aripin jjnaaaa05@gmail.com Rosi Wulandari rosiwulandari0211@gmail.com Albert Febrian Zebina Guevara albertfebrian2@gmail.com Rifka Utami rifka.arofah@gmail.com
Hypertension and diabetes mellitus are non-communicable diseases with a steadily increasing prevalence, including among adolescents.
