https://djournals.com/jieee/article/view/2811

A dorm is more than simply a place for students to live, it's also a place for them to socialize and develop their personalities, which has a big impact on both academic and non-academic aspects. In order to guarantee the residents' comfort, managing the needs of the dorm is essential. Errors in data recording, a lack of transparency in borrowing data, and ineffective coordination and communication are issues that frequently occur in the manual process of borrowing facilities. This study proposes an innovative approach for digitalizing dormitory facilities management, bringing all resident demands together on a single centralized platform. This prototype helps by eliminating the need for direct contact, which is frequently less efficient, and offering capabilities that save all data in a single database. The goal of this project is to create a web-based prototype that meets the requirements of dorm occupants and aids in resolving problems and difficulties that arise. Design thinking (empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test) was the methodology employed in this study. It began with direct observation to identify difficulties, followed by the creation of a prototype and a questionnaire for measuring user satisfaction. According to the results of the questionnaire, 88.79% of users expressed satisfaction with the system, particularly with regard to its usability, navigability, and attractive interface. With this system, the efficacy and simplicity of managing dormitory demands and facilities has improved.
Ayrin Lucyani PermatasariFelicia GunardiI Wayan Maha AcaryaMatthew WijayaRyo Kenzie GeraldoRahmi Yulia NingsihChairani Putri Pratiwi

https://djournals.com/jieee/article/view/2890

This research focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Smart Regulator system developed to detect LPG gas leakage and to perform automatic, real-time safety actions through integration with a smartphone. The proposed system employs the NodeMCU Wemos ESP8266 as the main control unit, which is responsible for processing sensor data and coordinating all system components. LPG gas leakage detection is carried out using an MQ-5 gas sensor, capable of measuring LPG concentration in parts per million (PPM). As part of the safety response mechanism, the system is equipped with several output devices, including a buzzer and LED indicators as warning signals, an exhaust fan to reduce gas accumulation within the enclosed space, as well as a motor servo and a solenoid valve that function to automatically control the gas flow. Based on experimental testing, the system has demonstrated stable and consistent performance in detecting LPG gas leakage. When the detected gas concentration is below 300 ppm, the system remains in a normal operating state without activating any warning devices. When the gas concentration ranges between 300 and 400 ppm, the buzzer and visual indicators are automatically activated as an early warning mechanism. Furthermore, when the gas concentration reaches between 500 and 1000 ppm, the exhaust fan and the regulator valve control mechanism are automatically engaged to reduce gas accumulation and minimize the risk of fire hazards.
Muhammad Yurizard LaksonoDimas Febriawan

https://djournals.com/jieee/article/view/2835

The Lean UX method is a design approach that emphasizes collaboration, rapid experimentation, and continuous validation to produce products that meet user needs. On the Kitchen food ordering website, Lean UX was applied to design and develop a points system and customer loyalty system to increase user engagement and retention. The points system was chosen because initial findings from user research indicated that customers wanted clear and sustainable incentives to continue ordering through the Kitchen platform. The Lean UX process began with formulating a hypothesis regarding the benefits of the points system, then continued with the creation of an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) in the form of a reward feature prototype. The prototype was iteratively tested with users through a Build Measure Learn cycle to obtain rapid feedback and identify pain points in the user experience. Through this series of experiments, the team was able to adjust the interface, interaction flow, and reward structure based on real data from user behavior. The results of implementing the Lean UX method showed that iterative testing helped accelerate the feature validation process, reduce development risks, and increase the relevance of the points system to user needs. Thus, Lean UX proved effective in creating loyalty features that not only improve the user experience, but also support Kitchen's business goals of retaining customers and increasing order frequency. to design and develop a points system and customer loyalty as an effort to increase user engagement and retention. https://djournals.com/jieee/article/view/2872

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the use of TikTok (X1) and Instagram (X2) on the academic achievement of Digital Business Undergraduate Program students of the 2022 intake, which is assessed by the average score. The study approach uses a quantitative approach with a questionnaire by 186 participants. The research instrument has been proven valid because all items meet the requirements of Corrected Item-Total Correlation > 0.30, and is reliable with Cronbach's Alpha values X1 = 0.81; X2 = 0.86; and Y = 0.87, respectively. The findings of the analysis indicate that the two independent variables do not contribute significantly to the dependent variable. The Pearson correlation results show r = –0.045 (p = 0.568) on X1 and r = 0.048 (p = 0.548) on X2, which reflects a very weak and statistically insignificant relationship. Partial regression testing using the t-test also confirmed this, with the regression coefficient of X1 being -0.0398 (t = -0.516; p = 0.606) and X2 being -0.0001 (t = -0.001; p = 0.999). Simultaneously, the F-test also indicated that the model was not significant (p > 0.05). The low R-squared value confirmed that X1 and X2 played only a small role in explaining the variation in student GPA. The regression model also met classical assumptions, including freedom from multicollinearity (VIF X1 = 1.18; VIF X2 = 1.17), no heteroscedasticity (p = 0.7829), and a linear relationship, although there were indications of mild autocorrelation (DW = 1.731). These findings confirm that the intensity of TikTok and Instagram use is not the main predictor of academic achievement, so further research is recommended to include other variables such as learning motivation, time management, academic support, quality of the learning environment, self-regulation, and the purpose and type of content consumption to build a more comprehensive academic achievement prediction model.
Nelani Shafatia ZulatifaAbdilbar Ainur RidlaGaluh Rastika PratiwiDivita Aulia ListyaningsihAmallia Putri OctaviaAtika Rosidah HamidahHarun Al Rosyid

https://djournals.com/jieee/article/view/2874

The Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program initiated by the elected administration has evolved into a strategic public policy, yet it has garnered diverse responses from various strata of society. These opinion dynamics are clearly evident through the high volume of interaction on social media, particularly within the comment section of the "Bocor Alus Politik" podcast on YouTube. This phenomenon reflects a significant polarization of public sentiment, which is crucial to map as a basis for evaluating government policy. This study is conducted with the primary objective of developing a sentiment analysis model capable of classifying public opinion regarding the MBG Program into two major categories, namely positive and negative sentiments, utilizing the Naive Bayes algorithm known for its effectiveness in text processing. The research methodology utilizes primary data in the form of collected public comments which undergo a systematic series of text preprocessing stages, including cleaning, tokenization, filtering, and vectorization, to prepare the data for processing. Model performance evaluation is subsequently conducted using the k-fold cross-validation method to ensure the reliability of the classification results. Experimental results indicate that the model successfully achieved an overall accuracy rate of 77.1%. In-depth analysis of per-class performance demonstrates that the model possesses a stronger capability in detecting negative opinions, evidenced by a precision of 0.795, recall of 0.884, and f1-score of 0.837, compared to positive sentiments (precision 0.701, recall 0.545, and f1-score 0.613). Based on these evaluation metrics, it can be concluded that the Naive Bayes algorithm proves to be sufficiently effective in classifying the direction of public sentiment, particularly in identifying public aspirations that are critical of the MBG program.
Abdulrahman TuasamuRapanca Cahya GumilangMohammad Akmal FachrianDaiva Rakha KrisnandiAzizah Wardah IndryaniFuad Nur Hasan

https://djournals.com/jieee/article/view/2912

Previously, the process of providing information technology device service was still carried out manually, including customer data recording, device documentation, service status updates, and information delivery to customers. This condition potentially caused various problems, such as inaccurate data recording, delays in communication among related parties, and limited managerial capability in monitoring overall service performance. This study aims to design and develop a web-based helpdesk and ticketing system capable of managing the service workflow in a structured, fast, and centralized manner. The system development method employed is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which enables an iterative development process with direct user involvement during the design and prototype evaluation stages. The developed system supports service request submission, customer and device data recording, real-time service status updates, and the provision of operational reports accessible to management. The testing results indicate that the implementation of the web-based helpdesk system improves service data recording efficiency by approximately 60%, increases service data accuracy by up to 80%, and reduces communication delays between customers and service providers. In addition, the provided dashboard feature facilitates management in monitoring technician performance, service status, and operational reports in real time. Therefore, the proposed web-based helpdesk and ticketing system is considered capable of enhancing operational efficiency, service transparency, and overall service quality.
Andre Nur SetiawanHendra Ferdi FerdianataHonorisman SarumahaWasis Haryono

https://djournals.com/jieee/article/view/2792

This study examines the gap between information security understanding and practice among employees of the Department of Trade, Industry, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises of Buleleng Regency when using M-Banking services vulnerable to phishing. Its objective is to measure the overall level of information security awareness and identify the weakest areas to serve as a basis for more focused mitigation recommendations. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 119 employees. The research instrument was developed based on the Human Aspects of Information Security Questionnaire (HAIS-Q) framework to measure the dimensions of Knowledge, Attitude, and Behavior. The collected data were analyzed using the Multiple Weighted Score Analysis (MWSA) method to determine vulnerability scores and rankings. The overall level of employees' information security awareness falls into the “Good” category with a composite score of 3.69. However, the findings reveal a significant knowledge-attitude-behavior gap, where the "Good" scores for Knowledge and Attitude dimensions are not matched by the Behavior dimension score, which is categorized as “Moderate.” To bridge this gap, recommendations focus on developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) designed as tools to foster secure habits. For effectiveness, SOP implementation must be supported by socialization activities oriented towards behavioral change, rather than mere information dissemination. This socialization should include practical training and direct simulations, particularly phishing attack simulations.
Ngurah Gede Prema Satya AnandaGede Arna Jude SaskaraBagus Gede Krishna Yudistira
